Learning through play
We actively promote play as being essential to any child. Play is crucial because it is the first step in children’s education and development. As children play, they learn.
Joining a toy library gives your child the chance to try a huge range of different toys that match the stage of development that your child is at.
Variety in the items they play with broadens their learning. By providing your child with age appropriate toys to play with you are giving them opportunities to be creative, help develop self-confidence and pride in their accomplishments. Toys can help children to use their imaginations, role play and develop language and social skills. Together with assisting your child's development, toys can be fun.
The toy library also aims to provide a place to interact with other families, to network and find support.
